For those of you who don’t know what a precognitive dream is, it’s when you have a dream about an upcoming future event. The actual dream rarely plays out the exact same way the incident occurs; often your dream will have weird symbolism and altered actions. In some precognitive dreams, you will experience a knowing this will take place. Other times, you won’t recognize that the dream was a prediction of future event until the situation unfolds.
Every night, your dreams are sending you messages while you sleep. What are these messages about? They can be about: denied emotions, future events, visitations from your departed loved ones, and guidance. Many times your dreams are similar to a Guru’s advice on how to solve problems and life direction.
Birds have always fascinated humans, whether we are awake or dreaming because we wonder what it would be like if we could fly. Birds’ dream meanings can have thousands of interpretations depending on the species and the dreamer’s feelings and experiences with birds.
Did your dreams change as you age? In my blog and last podcast episode, I will mostly speak about dreams that we have during the daytime. Although, our dreams of the nighttime often point out our desires to achieve goals in life. You have a choice to continue reading or listen to the eleven minutes podcast on the player down below.
Cars are everywhere and an important part of our lives; therefore, it’s not surprising we dream of them. Yet, what is the dream meaning of cars?
Have you ever heard that if you have a dream about falling while dreaming and hit the ground – you will die? What happens if someone kills you in your dream, are you truly dead? Has this been scientifically proven?
Last Monday, September 10, 2018, we were informed that Hurricane Florence’s eye is in direct line of where I live – Jacksonville, North Carolina. My spirit guides kept telling me over and over, “Safe.” This is the dream I had Tuesday morning:
Meow, did you have a dream about a cat or cats last night? For this blog post the cats I’m referring to are either domestic or feral cats. Big cats such as lion, tigers, or cougars can have different dream meanings. The following two paragraphs are taken from the chapter on “Dream Symbolism” in my book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams, which supports the theory that any dream symbol can have numerous meanings.
In my dream I was bending backwards in a camel pose while my feet were pointed up and I was easily able to touch my ankles. I lifted back up, put my feet flat, and again went into a bending backwards position. To my astonishment, I touched my ankles!
Filled with excitement I approached a twenty-six year old yoga teacher and blurted out, “I touched my ankle in camel pose.” She shrugged her shoulders in a “so what” manner. My response was, “Yes, but you’re young, I’m fifty-six years old. What an accomplishment!”

This blog post isn’t on the exact topic of dream interpretation, but on that weird state when you’re not awake, yet not asleep either. However, I feel it’s important to do a blog on receiving messages during the time between being asleep and awake. Back in the early nineties when I was studying hypnotherapy, my instructor mentioned how similar the feeling of being in-between sleeping and awakening is to the hypnotic state. In both cases you’re aware of your surroundings, are in a state of mind that is easier to accept suggestions; nonetheless, you clearly know what your values are and have the capacity to say no to anything harmful or bad behavior.
